Good communication by metro to the center (hostel is near metro, so it is very convenient to return in evening, when you are tired)and by train to airport, but on the other hand, it is a little bit noisy in the night due too noise of trains. Room and toilet is quiet clean. Staff doesn't speak english, but it is possible to communicate with the help of gestures :))) So if your purpose is to visit Rome as opposed to staying in a luxury hotel- I recommend this place for staying. The woman who greeted us was very kind. She didn't speak english, but we managed with our little bit of Italian. The bell to get in was broken, so if we hadn't had a phone and known how to say we'd arrived in Italian, it could have been frustrating. No problem finding the place though. Our room had bedbugs, which we didn't realize until after we had slept there. Very noisy and no fan or a/c, Also no breakfast - not really a b&b The room was cheap, but in retrospect it wasn't worth saving Elizabeth, from USA ~ 20th Aug 2011

The cheapest place in town. The staff is friendly and the rooms are okey. It is very close to the metro which is good, but the metro stops going at 1 am. This place might not therefore not be for the party tourist. The nearby located Piazza Bologna has everything you need. There's also a small but authentic market halfway to the piazza. The room was good enough for sleeping and the bathroom clean. Older comments (from 2008-2009) are not relevant anymore. Most of the problems are sorted Rasmus, from Sweden ~ 21st Jun 2011

I found out they canceled my room only because I called the day of arrival to confirm.I was sent to another hotel, where I was told there would be the same price.Not only was the room more expensive it was covered in mold and you could feel the springs through the mattress.What would they have done had I not called, let me go through Rome and back with all my luggage?I have never had a bigger problem when traveling.
