vibes hostel is my home in quito. i have yet to stay at another place like this where i actually feel like i am home. santiago the owner is the man always willing offer advice or lend a helping hand. his dog manchitas is pretty badass too. the bar is great and all the open lounge/common areas are perfect. i vibe Vibes, definitely. He recorrido varios hostels en Quito, averiguando precios y viendo las instalaciones pero este fue el mejor que vi y, sin duda, en el que me senti mas comodo. Atendido por gente con la mejor onda, y siempre dispuestos a ayudarte ante cualquier duda. La mejor voluntad para todo. Cuando regrese a Quito espero que haya lugar para hospedarme nuevamente. Super hostel, pas trop mal placé (proche transport en commun), avec staff très sympa, chambres propres. Grande Tv avec films, internet, ptits déj sympa, avec service bar ! Tout ce qu'il faut, pour pas très cher ! On nous a même proposé (mais pas forcé) de partager un lit en couple, et de ne payer qu'une part, car l'hotel était plein. Manque seulement un gros locker individuel (pleins de petits lockers + un gros, mais partagé). Super bien ! sebastien, from France ~ 5th Jan 2012

Excellent staff. Santiago, the owner goes out of his way to make sure the guests are comfortable and safe. Arrived back there late one night after a week away without a reservation when hostel was full. He took me to another hostel as he didnt want me wandering around alone at night.
