  • It depends where your bed is located. It in the basement, it is miserable, if upstair, it is like paradise. I complained and was upgraded so it turned out to be a good stay.

  • Two bathrooms for a floor with four rooms that can hold around 12 people are not enough. The floor of both bathrooms was always drenched and they just stink. Further, the hostel claims the reception is open 24 hours, and yet when we had a problem with loud guests at midnight we could not find anyone not to mention that the person in charge, Dolores, would not pick up any of our phone calls. In fact, she'd refuse them.

  • The hostel was good, with helpfull staff.... some days before the booking date, the owner hostel send u some email with the contact.... always is good callling to the hostel owner from the bus terminal, for example, because is not easy to reach the hostel, and more arriving with luggage and a heat weather. They pick you up from the bus terminal by free, but from the airport is like 200 kunas (28 euros).

  • Family run hostel. Is not clean. Amazing view of Dubrovnik as the hostel is long walk up the stairs. No where safe to store anything. No lockers. Cleanliness was a not a priority here but the price explains it.

  • Difficult to find on foot, pick up service available but only if you have a phone. Limited kitchen facilities, wifi didn't work (for me at least). Could only communicate with one of the staff members. Weren't able to provide a working set of keys for both the bedroom and the building.

  • The hostel is confortable, unfortunatelly air contitionned is paying. There is noise in the evening because of the neighbours, but don't prevent to sleep. The staff is nice.

Practically, Barcelona is a pretty easy city to navigate on foot or by public transport with a well laid-out grid system for the streets and a simple metro system. Here's an example of what you can do with 24 hours and a T10 (10 journey) metro ticket.
