really solid hostel - dinner, wifi, bar, you name it, massive and fully booked when i was there - crazy for late October! it's the place to stay in Nice. only downside is it's a bit too far out of town to really go in at night but with 4euro bottles of wine and 1 euro beers everyone just socialises at the hostel anyway. The staff was very helpful and nice! It was odd sharing the kitchen with the actual chefs, but the kitchen itself was great. I only stayed one night and I wish I could have stayed longer! Allison, from USA ~ 21st Oct 2009

We had a good time there, met lots of awesome people. It is a hostel with a very lively party atmosphere. there's a great bar on site, great breakfast in the mroning, they make it fairly accessible to the tramline to get around Nice, but it is located up quite the long slope and can be difficult to get into town. The tram ride to the ocean takes almost half an hour. We would recommend the place, though, especially if you like to stay up late. Cynthia, from Canada ~ 17th Oct 2009

A great place to stay, regular transport into town, and the reception has oodles of information for your stay in Nice and around! Dane, from New Zealand ~ 15th Oct 2009

We stayed in a 4 bed room. The room was not cleaned for 3 days and there was no soap. They did give us free towels though. You have to get a tram to town and back each day. Then you have to either walk at least 10 minutes or wait for the shuttle bus, which was definitely not running every 15 minutes as suggested and was often filled with other residents and their luggage! It is a huge, modern facility which holds 250 guests. This means that it is very difficult to find any space and quiet. There Carla, from Australia ~ 12th Oct 2009

Out of All the hostels i stayed at on my travels, this was my favorite. It wasn't in the Centre of town but they have a shuttle bus running every ten mins, the staff and facilities were amazing (made to order pizza's and dinner available at the hostel and 1 Euro drinks!!!) also the best atmosphere i've expierienced. I'm planning to go back to nice just to stay at the hostel again for a long weekend! David, from England ~ 13th Oct 2009

The staff is friendly, will give you a lot of info where to go e.g. I went to Monaco, Monte Carlo for 1 Euro one way then I went to St. Tropez and Cannes on the other day. The hostel has a bus shuttle service to get you to the main tram (that tram takes you to the train station, to bus 23 stop, and to the beaches) every 15 mins. So no hassle. Breakfast is quite reasonable. Rooms, beds, bathrooms are clean, lots of art on the walls like Picasso, van Gogh reprints, huge mirrors. Ask the receptioni Alicja, from Poland ~ 4th Oct 2009

Best place we stayed in all of France. The owner is awesome. The kitchen area is amazing...if you like to cook or party, this is the place. Great day trips offered and some very reasonable. Staff was friendly and genuinely interested in everyone having a good time. william, from USA ~ 12th Oct 2009

The best hostel I have ever stayed at. Bar with cheap but good food and drink inside, extensive choice of food for breakfast, great for touristy information, nice staff (apart from one rather ornery cook). Offers a shuttle service to and from the tram, and was a lot of fun to stay at. Alexander, from USA ~ 25th Sep 2009
