Some of the staff are among the most unfriendly I have ever seen in any hostel ever. Kitchen/common area is good, with 2 computers; and the hostel overall is very clean. Also, don't do your washing there if you can avoid it: it's expensive (15LT) and comes back rock hard.

Dorm room was quite small and stuffy and hostel didn\'t have any atmosphere. Good location, only a few minutes from the gates of dawn. Clean, helpful staff.

when you leave the train station, turn right and then walk straight ahead. otherwise, it was very well located, easy to find and the staff were very helpful.
one thing worried me: when I entered receptinist was away for a few minutes (no problem with that) but I could enter any room, and remove anything I wanted, as seems everyone was away at that time; Lithuania is charming and developed, dont think there are many thiefs from the street who would just pop in to steal stuff, but rooms should have locks, as a matter of principles, otherwise receptionists need to work in shifts... But overall OK hostel

This is the cleanest hostel I've ever been in! Overall it's definitely worth its' price.
It seems that there is never anyone at the reception. Had to wait for about 15 minutes to check in, because the receptionist was nowhere to be found. And she was sleeping when we wanted to book extra nights, though it was about 10:00am. The 7-bed dorm is very cramped, but the kitchen and common rooms are nice. Good location...

Nice hostel. I would stay there again. Really. Fo' Reals. Kind of cramped but really nice staff and location is good. It is not labled "old town hostel" so watch out for that. The sign just has a little house with a tree on it and the latest version of the lonely planet eastern europe guide has it marked wrong on their map. Word.
