- “ This is the third time we have stayed at this lovely hostel over the past four years. The family are wonderful, welcoming, helpful and polite. The rooms are spotless and great value. Altogether a good experience in the madness of the hustle and bustle of HCM to come back to this calm. Excellent. PS they should be the first in Asia! ”

- “ The location is very poor, may be OK for the typical low budget back packers but then for such location the price was is very high. No vehicle will go there and one has to pass through a narrow, dirty and poor alley and the room on higher floor has to be reached by very narrow and low flight of stares that I hit my head few occasion. No facility to make a cup of tea, no break fast and in fact no staff, except the owner and family. The owner was kind to offer me a cup of coffee on leaving. ”

- “ Vy was the best hostel owner I have encountered. This was such a pleasant surprise. It is in a good location in Ho Chi Minh and Vy is connected to everything in the city. She helped us a great deal. She even booked tickets and tours for us throughout Cambodia via e-mail. This hostel was clean and the A/C was nice. It's a family place and we enjoyed it very much. ”

- “ Vy Khanh hostel is one of the best places to stay in HCMC. Ms. Vy and her mother (who we call "Auntie") are the friendliest people we ever met while in HCMC. We had a tight schedule going back and forth to Vietnam and Cambodia that we gave them hassles on our last few days of stay in the hostel for making late cancelations/change of time for taxi pickup to airport, etc... but they remain very understanding and patient. Auntie, stay sweet. Ms. Vy, tnx for the free ride to airport. Cám ơn ) ”

- “ This hostel is a family run business. They are very welcoming, offer fresh ground coffees in the morning to kick start your day. ”

- “ We had a great time staying at Vy Khanh, Vy is nice, gave us all important information for our DIY City Tour, gave us even a detailed and helpful map. Her mom is nice, even offered us a coffee before we start our day. The location is superb, just walking distance to famous tourist attractions. We booked our tours through them as well. We enjoyed the Cu Chi Tour. We were able to hang out for afternoon snacks with Mr Binh afterwards. He is such a brilliant tour guide. Lots of stories to tell. ”
