It was weird staying at a hotel that was booked through the hostel, but it was nice to have a secure room and a bathroom in the room. The facilities were clean and usable and the staff at both the hostel and the hotel were friendly and helpful. It was worth the value for its close proximity to the beach and the shops of Waikiki. Aside from a minor confusion about a room change, our stay at this hostel were convenient and pleasant. I'd return and recommend it to others. Lydia, from USA ~ 1st May 2012

3 bed dorm is hotel room (queen, twin, and pull-out couch). Bathroom, TV, balcony, AC. Couch not comfy, even for a hostel. AC was good. Common room is in another building up the street and you have to get a staff member to let you in. Wifi in common area but not rooms. Nice common room, friendly atmosphere, free beer night was fun. Make-your-own breakfast starts at 8AM. Well-equipped kitchen, but small bugs on all the counters. Overall, a bit dirty. Would stay again. Good location. Lasha, from Canada ~ 6th Mar 2012

It was a great location, and we loved how they welcomed us. We were served a delicious ratatouille and beer one of the evenings. We found many hairs on the bathroom-floor, it was dust in corners, behind all the furnitures etc and it was a lot of dirt under each bed etc. We told the hotel and they cleaned it a little (..) bit more the day after, but it was still very dusty, some hairs left etc. and it felt unclean. inger helene, from Norway ~ 26th Feb 2012

bad that you have to call from the front desk everytime you want to get into the kitchen and common room ola, from Sweden ~ 20th Feb 2012

We came without high expectations besides a private place to sleep and store our stuff, and were pleasantly surprised by the fact that we had a kitchenette for much less than other hotels in Waikiki. The hostel staff were good, but the hotel staff were fairly indifferent beyond providing towels. The guy at the desk said that checkout was at noon, which wasn't the case. We had internet access through Backpackers but they didn't have a printer, and the hotel's was a rip-off (See below). Kirsten, from Canada ~ 8th Feb 2012

First I was very skeptic about a dorm, but it was so cool, we met some new people, the common room was great, breakfast included and you can cook your own dinner and eat on their terrace=) The bad thing was the breakfast time, you can just eat from 8am, that´s too late if you have planned a full day Melanie, from Germany ~ 7th Feb 2012

Very nice hostel, definitely worth the price. The breakfast waa good and you get free pizza and beer like twice a week. You meet a lot of fun people from all over the world. The location is good, its a 5 minute walk to the beach. Josefin, from Sweden ~ 30th Dec 2011

The hostel partnered with a hotel so ended up with a hotel. Staff were very welcoming and helped as much as possible. People staying there were great to. Only tiny little inconvenience you had to ring from hotel front desk to get up the lift to hostel commonroom. Just felt like we were being annoying if we wanted to go up and down.
