I was robbed at this hostel, one man attacked me with a gun, took my money. All people were terrified and checked out next day. Police said that it was not the first time when somebody was attacked when entering his home. I'm happy that I'm alive, but I'm sure, that it is not a safety location and I really don't recommend this hostel. The manager of this place is not very helpful, she will not allow you to use the phone even if you want to pay for it and it is an emergency. Natalia, from Poland ~ 30th Aug 2011

Nearby was a hostige situation while I was there and the day after I checked out I found out that one of the girls that also where staying there was robbed and the guy followed her into the hostel, holding a gun. My stay was okay. It smelled kind of funny in the lobby and I always had the feeling that the toilet was falling apart, whenever I sat down. The connections to the citycenter are okay, but it is quite far away from the main attractions. Stefanie, from Austria ~ 20th Aug 2011

The place itself is absolutely fine, its clean and pretty much what you can expect from a cheap hostel. I think people do need to be aware of the area though. We were travelling back reasonably late at night (bonus points for late night bus service) and it wasnt the most comfortable of journeys in a not particularly great side of town. I think if you're a reasonable sized group or you arent all female it will be ok, but we were 2 girls and felt very aware of our surroundings... Katie, from England ~ 6th Jul 2011

I was only staying for one night, and I was coming in late, so I don't think I got the full experience. But the owner was very nice she even stayed up late to let me in.
