  • The price is reasonable. There're many restuaunts and bars around the hostel. Just a little cold during night time.

  • Excellent located! Many rest'nts, pubs, club in street! 2 mins 2 bus. Nights quiet. Keys also for room. Bed linen + room floor are clean. Dirty socks but also nice multiling. guest info in comm. room. Staff absent-minded. Clearly ordered 6-bed dorm but were led to 8-bed. Then got 6-bed on request. Needs compl. overhaul/cleaning! Bath/kitchen stained/messy. Slide windows don't stay open unless sth. is under it. Bath window steady held open (makeshift construct.): Cold air while heater runs.

  • Everything good and bad about staying in a hostel really. (Noisy, fun, interesting people, disorganized, chill). Clean.

  • amazing location! Could not possibly be located closer to all the bars/restaurants. Most DC hostels are located quite a ways from anything of interest (at least a 10 minute walk), but this is right in the heart of the action

  • The staff is friendly, but the breakfast is only toast and jam/peanutbutter. The kitchen facilities are very poor, and the kitchen is extremely small. It was very cold sleeping in the rooms, cause the windows are broken. With only one bathroom on the first floor you have to wait in a line. Out of all the hostels I have stayed in, it's probably the one with fewest facilities and common areas.

  • This was a great hostel, only a 10 minute walk to the metro and in a great neighbourhood. The staff were lovely and really welcoming. I would totally reccomend it to everyone! :)

  • Very disappointed by hosts: The lady was so bored annoyed to tell us about the hostel and show us the room. Didn't smile once and told her colleague IN FRONT OF US that she is so sick of working with the hostel guests. We didn't feel welcome at all. Bed mattresses definitely need to be changed, they're worn and there's no way to sleep there. Bathrooms were totally dirty, things lying around with dust layers on them. The Neighbourhood is awesome, we loved the bars and restaurants nearby!

  • I thought it was a cool spot. I slept the first day and then got to know the people there...really funny..really entertaining. Lots of things to do a club is right down stairs!!!!! Amazin.....plus it's close to buses that run all night, the metro, awesome pizza.....banks are nearby, supermarket nearby. Almost everything you need. Thanks!!! I definitely recommend the area and Washington International Student Center. The people there are so much fun to be around. People from all over the world...

  • It's a good place. The staff are friendly and good fun. The rooms can get a bit cramped and the showers are a bit dingy but overall it is a nice place to stay in DC. The location in Adams Morgan is excellent in terms of night life. It is a nice walking distance from the White House and downtown as well. Overall it's good and has a nice communal atmosphere. Steve is hilarious!

  • I was coming from western PA and route 70 east in Maryland was closed, so I had to take an hour's worth of detours, making my arrival time unexpectedly late. The owner of the hostel waited for me to come and then personally brought me to the parking garage to make sure I found it and gave me a complimentary parking pass for the night. Comfortable beds, good security, nice people, good cooking facilities/fridge, community environment. Near grocery, restaurants, bikes, park, historic sites, river

  • Located in a student area, a bit far from the city center. Quite basic but decent hostel. Staff was extremely helpful.

  • It was OK, for 30 dolars in Washington is perfect price, only that they have promised us breakfast and when we came in the morning to the kitchen, there was nothing to eat, but everything else was OK.
