The lobby area of the hostel seems to be new and nice. I ended up not staying because aisle way leading to the dorm room is so cramped with mixed dorm beds in the open. The female dorm is next to the bath/shower stall (where everyone shares). Singapore is expensive. Worth the effort to look around before you decide where to stay.

The hostel is good enough but a bit too far from the mrt station. It would be much more better if their bathrooms have a holder to put our toiletries. They have smelly bath towels. Overall, good enough to recommend others and will definitely choose Welcome Inn for next stay. Adios

Single room was clean plus some extras like a dresser, alarm clock, closet, towel. Good people too! I went to another place before this one and it cost a little more without the extras mentioned above. Only issue is that as soon as you come out of the shower or toilet (which are separate, a plus!), there is a big "curtainless" window that is not pleasing for us modest types :). Great place overall.
