Good Location and the staff are very friend and willing to help and suggest things to do. The Hostel itsself is very dark and being in the middle of china town very dirty, rooms are basic with no windows, but for the price what do you expect. Elinor, from England ~ 11th Nov 2009

When booking online there's no option to choose between AC and fan room, so upon arrival, we found out we booked a fan room so we switched to an AC room for RM25 more per night. Room was near Reggae Bar outside and it can be quite loud at night. Manager was very friendly and helpful. My only complain is 2 out of 4 toilet stalls do not have working locks. I have enjoyed my stay in Wheelers, lovely people, great location! Very helpful staff, and great dinner on friday night for free! Cold showers and breakfast if you fancy, fish and turtles, many plants and the rooftop garden is great if you want to escape from the busy city and just enjoy a cold beer! Recommended!!!! I was disappointed with Wheelers, mainly because the staff were unhelpful. I booked the wrong room online by mistake and was unable to change it on arrival (even though an alternative was available). Was told internet wasn't working when receptionist was on Facebook. I was grudgingly assisted with directions to the train station but it wasn't easy to get the information. It wasn't particularys clean although I wouldn't mind that so much if I'd felt relaxed in the environment generally. Vicky, from England ~ 5th May 2009

I have been staying in this welcoming hostel for two weeks now and can only recommend the place! When I first came in, I thought I had stepped into an oasis for the reception area looks more like an outside garden with flowers, lampions and aquariums! The rooms are generally clean (I lived in three of them now) and no bed bugs. The staff is very friendly! They offer useful insider advice! The boss is very helpful! There is a free buffet on the funky coloured rooftop every Friday! Heidemarie, from Austria ~ 2nd May 2009

i think dis place is not suitable for local who drive..we have to park our car behind d hostel and walk to there early morning 730a.m. to pay parking fees. from the info which wheeler provide is 5 minutes away from pudu but we take 15 minutes from pudu, and when we call the mobile number to confirm the direction, the boss answer with no manners and not friendly at all..it's spoilted our mood. and the direction to wheeler really not clear, we take 45 minutes to find this place. others Jessica, Li Mei, from Malaysia ~ 15th Apr 2009
