very good place to stay, friendly staff and very confortable sleaping, clean and good quality sheets. large common area with internet and kitchen. nice people around. 10 walk from subway than 5 minutes to town, also nice the area around, good food and nice restaurants not to expensive. toilet, as all in general in the hostels can be improuved...but very good, give it a try! federico, from Italy ~ 15th Nov 2009

Great place to stay! Its like staying with your friends in a flat. Absolutely a peaceful Hostel. But maybe nothing for conservative ppl or unrelaxed ones. I will definitely will stay here again. Rene Adrian, from Germany ~ 23rd Sep 2009

This hostel is a great one. It is like the spare rooms of someone’s flat have been rented out which gives it a homely feel. If you want loads of action and people to meet then stay at a larger one as this one is small and peaceful. It can get a bit noisy at night with the windows of the bedroom opening out to the pubs. Other than this it was a great place to stay. Thanks Christian, Dan and Ken. Matthew, from Australia ~ 22nd Sep 2009

Very laid back and fun owner/manager. The owner lives there and has a few of his friends manage it for him. One of the guys is a British hipster and he will keep you laughing the entire time. Another manager is an aspiring medical doctor and is very kind. Highly recommended! David, from USA ~ 13th Sep 2009

This place is amazing! At first it was sort of hard to find, but once I walked in, everyone was genuinely nice, mellow and accepting. The rooms were good, the beds were comfy (and large depending on which room you have), the place was clean and there was even a cat. The guy who worked here were even nice enough to help me find accommodation for the next night...I would have been stranded otherwise. I'd definitely recommend to stay here. adorable cool hostel in the best area to stay, it's small size and very loveable stuff makes it totally different from bigger anonymous hostels and the area is the hot spot of the town....frank frank, from Germany ~ 25th Aug 2009

this was definitely a host'l experience way out of the ordinary! staff & visitors were all super friendly, and felt more like a sort of community than a regular hostel. being right on bedford in williamsburg is nothing but perfect. sure, there's noise, but as soon as you go outside you're right in the middle of things. the area is great, especially for young people. lots of bars, cafés, fun shops, parks, and only a few minutes away from the subway. as far as the average rating on security: d Radha, from USA ~ 1st Jul 2009

I absolutely adored this hostel. It's clean, cozy, comfortable, quiet, and everybody is very sweet and friendly. It was my first time staying in a shared-room hostel, and I couldn't have been happier with this place. And it was cheap! And so close to Manhattan! And right in the middle of Williamsburg, which is awesome in its own right! If you can get space there, go! David, from Canada ~ 28th May 2009

From the outside, it doesn't seem to be a very interesting place: it's just a small door surrounded by garbage bins. Inside, a warm, cosy and friendly home. The staff is warm-hearted and helpful beyond belief. Frank, the cat, is awesome. If you're looking for a hostel with lots and lots of people and 24/7 party, this is probably not for you. If you want to stay in a cool, nice place where you can interact with interesting people and at the same time not far from night life spots, stay here Pablo, from Argentina ~ 27th Apr 2009
