Fine but pretty minimal. If all you need is a bed and some internet in a good location (convenient to Insadong, the palaces, and laidback student nightlife), it'll work.

Very dirty...the only thing good about the hostel is the common area

No air conditioning in the rooms which was awful cause it was really hot. Not much to do really at the Hostel, and if you drink you can only have a maximum of 2 beers. The location was great though because it was close to the subway which gets you downtown very quickly. The staff was nice, but they weren't very helpful when it came to traveling around. All in all I would probably never stay there again.

this was a very basic hostel, the foreign staff were helpful and friendly. the bathroom was dirty and never cleaned and we had no toilet paper... the location is ok, close to the subway and walking distance to some of the sights.

This hostel is great for its location! It closes to Hyehwa station (university area), many food stores there! We could taste the Korean cuisine in a tiny food store. For the foreigners who are going to stay more than a month in Seoul, it is possible for them to be the volunteers in the hostel. With providing them free accomodation, they should responsible for replying booking e-mails, or any documentaries in English. This hostel offers free pick-up service for DMZ tour as well.

Let's face it. The place is a dump BUT in a way a nice dump. A good place to meet with other travellers if you're on the move. I wasn't, so therefore had different needs. The staff is fun and friendly, which compensates a little bit for the lack of basic infrastructure.

I had a really nice stay at the Windflower Guesthouse. The staff was approachable and pleasant, they made my first trip to Seoul really enjoyable. In the future I would make the Windflower my first choice.

The rooms are small and the lockers are useless. They are OUTSIDE and made of wood. There\'s free laundry. The employees are not too useful. One is from Japan and has a tough time with English and cannot speak Korean. The other is Korean who helped us begrudgingly. And, the 3rd guy is American. I have definitely stayed at much better hostels, but I guess you get what you pay for and for $12 I won\'t be submitting my complaints to their Public Relations department :)
