- “ They made booking and payment difficult. I saw another man also struggle with a staff on this issue. I was told that it was temporary staffer while another one was on vacation but I hope that is also reason why there was no staff at all on duty for awhile and why there was no proper communication on issues of payment. I was asked to book online when I got there. I chose 1 day and it said cost = $14 The guy says because I booked one day, it was $16 instead. A price should not change once agreed ”

- “ Easy transport, not quite clear that there was an extra service charge on top of the stated room price. ”

- “ as compare with my previous stay in this hostel one year ago, the standard of service of this hostel has drop tremendously. first the hostel was dirty. second no staff was available to assist people.it is a self manage hostel. third hostel didn't provide main door key to client.each time we have to wait for some one to open the door. fourth other hostel didn't demand for 10 % tax,but this hostel needed. fifth some people act like their own house rude to others but no staff to complaint. ”

- “ There is 10% extra charge inclusive SGD 30 for deposit. Have to be clear with which roommate you want, or else they will toss you randomly. There's even an old man living in the room no. 4 which is kind of disgusting, as well as some Indian. Don't like - Bed bugs - Flies, OMG it's everywhere I sleep! - Bed sheet is not clean - Ceiling is damn dirty - There are storage on the alley hall, which is disgusting - Check in for two person but gave me only 1 locker room - Disgusting room mates ”

- “ It was hard to find the hostel since there was no signage or neon box. Instead, there's only a piece of A4 paper indicating this cheap yet clean hostel. Since it is worth-to-stay hostel, you guys really have to take attention to the address itself. A small thing that really mattered for me. Nevertheless, this hostel was decent for you to stay. ”

- “ Did not state clearly balance payment is only by cash upon arrival. Despite informed staff on the day of arrival to cancelled the last day of stay which was 3 days in advance but the reception forgot to informed the management and I had to pay for the full booked period (4 nights). This is only hostel with such unreasonable 'rules' that I had experienced. Bed sheets was not changed with stains on pillow cases and itch on my body on the next morning. Upon request only the staff changed. ”

- “ If you only have money as a decision factor, it should be the cheaper hostel you will find, however it doesn't have the best environment, since the staff is never around and they can not answer your doubts when they are there. It includes breakfast, that's good. Isn't far from the MRT, like 5 minutes or less walking, but is a bit far from the city center, but it's fast and easy to get there by MRT ”

- “ Very good location - just 100 m to the Aljunied MRT station. Free wi-fi. What we didn't like: the staff made us to pay extra 10% although we already paid it on hostels.com. They showed us a kind of document so we had nothing to do but only to pay. Toilets and showers were clean. Beddings were clean too. The worst thing is that there were bed bugs! My arms and legs were totally bitten by those insects! So be prepared - don't forget to take a Shieldex spray if you're going to stay at this hostel. ”

- “ The hostel is split between two buildings - one with a common area and kitchen, one without. They're only about 100m apart, but enough to be annoying in the evenings when you'd like to relax in a common space. The beds really are comfortable, but the bathrooms lack things like soap that make a hostel feel livable. The staff are friendly but not a permanent fixture during the days, and the hostel offers no tourism info or other support for the trip. Dorm was good value, private room was not. ”

- “ I stayed at that hostel for 6 nights in December 2012. The staffs are very helpful and nice. Free breakfast and wifi. No curfew, you got your own key to enter anytime you want. Location is so great, not far from Metro station (about 100 meter), and food shops and other shops. Although it's very close to Metro station, there is no annoying noise from train. Shops are open 24 hours, and crowded until midnight. ”
