“ In order to have even more integration amongst people, some special nights could be offered by the staff on the bar. Other than that, great hostel, great facilities, that make your stay a lot more pleasant!!! Congrats! ”

“ Hostel is not informed that it's not allowed to take your ID's such as a passport, drivers license or European ID-Card. These are government-issued papers and they belong to the person whose name is in it. The hostel wants them as a deposit for the keycard. Charge €5 for a deposit instead of a passport! It's also not allowed to make a copy due to security reasons (identity fraud is easy with a copy). For the rest, the hostel was great. Fantastic location, great atrium and bar, awesome breakfast! ”

“ The hostel is not in the city center, however it's just opposite central station where you could either take the S bahn or U bahn to go anywhere in Munich. The lobby and the common area feels so nice and cozy. I definitely come back if I ever visit Munich again. ”

“ Only one bathroom per room, so you may wait for a while to use it, and they only clean it once a day, so trash cans are always full and the floor dirty. Everythig else is really nice, brekfast is awsome! ”

“ A great and helpful staff combined with a location not even a block away from the central station made this the perfect Hostel in Munich! A great bar atmosphere every night with good food and even better beer made for a great ending to great days. Will definitely recommend Wombats to friends traveling in the area! ”

“ Although the WiFi was always overloaded, the experience was great. The bar and other facilities were great and the room was huge for just a few people. The staff was great and I encourage you to take the free tour of Munich with Ozzie. IT was one of the best experiences I had in my travels across Europe. ”

“ The location was perfect, right by the train station and not too far from downtown. If you stay here, be sure to take the free tour with Ozzy - you'll see more of Munich and Germany than you would ever otherwise see. The "winter garden" area is a great place to hang out, as is the bar. The atmosphere is laid back and it's a very comfortable place to stay. Highly recommended. ”

“ Goods: great location, clean rooms, lots of information on area and tours, bar, computers, and facilities. Bads: very big, not great for meeting people, staff (especially the females for some reason) don't really help you. I asked one female staffer a question she looked at me, shrugged, and went back to playing on her computer. I feel like ever time I asked the staff a question the answer was "I don't know." ”

“ Wombats in Munich was a perfect place to stay at an excellent price! It is less than 5 minutes from the train station, the staff is very welcoming and helpful, and the two person ensuites were perfect. The hostel is suited for people in the age range of 20-30; however even if you are older and looking for a low budget place to stay, I highly recommend Wombats. Don't forget to take the free Oz Tour of Munich... Ozzie is awesome; he gives interesting insight on Munich and it's history. ”

“ I think the hostel is very popular in Europe i saw many backpackers in there. I felt exellent during staying just excpt when i arrived my room i booked that was not cleaned so I asked staff. Maybe there were many people hanging out and busy, they forgget it. I can understand and it was not a big deal. ”

“ The location is very good as it's close to Hbf and it's not far away for walking to Karlsplatz and Marienplatz. And it's good to have the own bathroom in the dorm. Also, the individual key card for own locker is good. But the storage room for luggage is not safe enough as it seems that every one could go into that luggage room. ”
