“ "City center" is a very vague term. It was quite a load of work to get into the old city from here, and just as difficult to get to Schonbrunn Palace. It was in a small, cramped building, which they do seem to be expanding. The staff were ok and it was reasonably clean, but there was no WiFi except in a small bubble around reception. ”

“ This is a really nice hostel. The breakfast was wonderful/huge/lots of options and a couple euros. Really nice facilities with bathrooms, laundry, etc. Wifi is only available in the lobby though. Quite centrally located and part of a larger Wombats chain. HUGE hostel and a great place to meet people, but privacy if you want it. ”

“ Great hostel, it really isn't that far from the station and the metro. A good five minute and there's a small supermarket along the way. Once you're on the metro you're in the city center in five minutes. The Wombar is a good place to meet new people, but the hostel could also use a more quiet common room. (or at least some extra chairs for the people using the wifi on the ground floor). ”

“ Bit far from the center but easy reachable by public transport. No common kitchen but a guest can use the kitchen in the nearby other Wombat... but that's not very practical. No wifi in rooms and very loud bar meant that people would sit on the floor in the lobby to get Internet access, something to rethink about. Our room's bathroom was clean but our actual room's floor (6 beds) had not been cleaned in a long time as there was a lot of dust everywhere. 1 plug for the entire room was annoying as well be ”

“ What an awesome place, you get a welcome drink when you get there, the staff is great as well as the hostel's facilities. There is a nice bar and the bar crew is really fun. The rooms are cozy and you get your own restroom with a shower. There are a couple of nice restaurants (Mariahilferbrau i think is what it was called where we went) close by as well as tram stations. There are a couple of wombats in vienna but this one i definitively recommend. ”
