“ Everything echoed in the hallways and had lots of trouble sleeping. Had to yell at some Lebanese dudes who were playing soccer with a garbage can. Would recommend, but with earplugs. ”

“ Really enjoyed the stay for 4 nights.The staffs were very friendly and helpful whenever u have questions or answers umm.. but the sign on the building outside doesn't say "The lounge".. I remember it said the "place"...This confused me at first so I think u should do smthng about that misunderstanding. and its unfortunate that the bar closes early sometimes when they think there arent enough customers..and i was a customer but guess i wasnt fast enough :S ”

“ Wombats City Hostel Vienna - The Lounge was just great place to stay for few days of a cultural city holiday in Vienna. The location was excellent, near the city centre and the metro station, easy to come from the airport. The staff very friendly and helpful, the atmosphere was relaxed and nice, and above all, the breakfast was absolutely fabulous - great value for little money and healthy!! ”

“ Wonderful hostel! Close to the train station and the underground - you could reach the city center in no time. The staff was so helpful and nice, the rooms were clean, spacious and had a private shower in each. The breakfast was well worth the €3.80, the laundry room was great to have and the bar was fun. I would definitely stay again and would recommend it to anyone going to Vienna. ”

“ I have stayed in quite a few hostels around the world and thus far I was most impressed by this one. I had a 4 person bed, there was a shower/bathroom in the room which surprised me. Everything was clean and tidy. The area in the middle of the room had a space, but on one side of the beds it was a little tight. I was surprised to pay for my breakfast, the last time I stayed in a hostel, a little over 15 months ago, that wasn't the norm. Breakfast was good, staff was very friendly and helpful. ”

“ I loved everything about Wombats City Hostel Vienna - The Lounge! The staff is really great and helpful, rooms were clean and warm (I've been there in December), metro station (U-bahn) is right across the street and it's very easy to get to any part of Vienna you want... It's located on Mariahilferstrasse, so you can basically take a walk to the city center and get there in no time... Great value for money, I'm absolutely coming back ”

“ The room is very comfortable and modern, it does not looked like a hostel, it looks like a hotel. Breakfast was cheap and very complete. The attention of the staff is excellent. The bar was really cool. I have nothing negative to comment. ”
