Great staff and atmosphere... The free walking tour is a must do for people travelling on their own. The hostel is so big that it's a good way to get to know some people to go to the beer halls and restaurants with. Ozzy the guide knows the good ones too.

The only thing we didn't like was the lack of place to park our car few minutes in the streets near the hostel to unload our baggages.
Simply the best! I've stayed in 7 hotels (hotels, not hostels) within 20 days, before Wombat's and this was the best place I've been. The staff treats you like family, the breakfast was excellent, the room is exactly what you pay for, the location couldn't be better (almost INSIDE the train station).
awesome walking tour, highly recommend it for anyone wanting to get to know the town and a bit of its history...
wonderful place to stay
This was a great hostel. Centrally located and easy to get to everything. Staff were fantastic and genuinely friendly and helpful. Rooms were big and very secure and clean. The bar added a great atmosphere and everyone we met was frienly and good fun.
there is a very comfy covered garden. nice setting.
