Woodduck Boomerang Backpackers in Algonquin Park, Australia

This hostel is alright if you want to get a poor breakfast (as usually in Australia), free airport pick up if you stay at least 3 nights and a location in between the city centre and kings cross as well as party a lot. If you are a smoker, this is a good place. Despite signs, staff themselves seem to be illiterate and openly smoke in the TV room. Security - poor, rooms never locked. You can see the massive dips in the beds showing how old and tired they are - uncomfortable. 10 bed room, far too small and long term guests seem unable to live tidly. Free internet only available to select few - there claims to be wifi but there isnt Don't recommend at all.

Thanks you for your comments. I'm sorry to here you didn't enjoy your stay at Boomerang. Internet/wifi in the hostel is never free and is aon a pay asyou go system through reception. With room security its the guests main responsibility to ensure they lock doors after leaving. Please be assured the property is a smoke free environment (except for our amazing rooftop)
