i had a great time here it was VERY EASY TO FIND and the staff were great "except it having" a small bathroom it was decent and clean with multi lingual staff. i felt safe especially since i was a single female traveling alone, the company i met were cool and the neighborhood was close to shoppiing food and central paris train stations. all in all it was awsome and i would recommend this to any travelor..... they give out great information of free tours and things to do

Tried to charge more upon arrival. Really funky foyer, and nice, small courtyard. Water temp in showers varied. Breakfast is bread and jam.

Different people seem to have different opinions of this place and a lot of the online reviews reflect this fact ...so much so that they seem to contradict eachother at times. In my view the place is perfectly OK for what it is. The noise levels are quite high at night but nothing that can't be tackled with a pair of earplugs. All of the staff displayed at least the minimum amount of required courtesy (I didn't ask for or expect any more than that) and the place is great for meeting interesting people and fellow travellers. There are a host of minor reservations I could have highlighted (The 4-hour lockout could be a turn-off for some people who want the option to sleep in the afternoon; sheets rented, not provided, resident cat is too emotionally distant etc) but none of these amount to anything serious if you're looking for a place to stay and are used to the limitations associated with budget travel. There's more I could say but I have to be off now. John

We are a group of 5 people who were staying here just 2 weeks ago..well, nothing much i can say about the hostel because its quite comfortable. the rooms are a bit too dark inside and the security is pretty lacking but the breakfast is kinda nice!

I actually ended up canceling two nights of my stay, does my 10 percent deposit carry over to the next reservation I make on hostels.com?

Breakfast was supposed to be till 9.30 but everything was gone well before that. The place is cheap and so is their attitude. The guests were nice though, and it does have character.
