This place is very great. It's far from Windermere station, but they have a shuttle bus. You can see beatiful scenery right in front of the hostel. Nice staff and very clean.

the Twin room would be better described as having a bunk bed.

Had a lovely stay at the Ambelside YHA. Showers were great. Breakfast was lovely. Really like the cafe and dining area. Thought the lounge area could do with a bit of modernising though. Parking seemed quite difficult at times too.
