  • The owner / operator was very very helpful and more than happy to offer advice and directions. Very good security with magnetic swipe card entry and lockers available. Very close to a main train station, and often would get offered a Tuk Tuk before we even got out the door, its not hard to get around from the YHA. Facilities wise the room was excellent with aircon and comfortable beds, communal bathrooms were average which is to be expected.

  • This hostel is NOT convenient for the airport if you have early/late flight. Sky train opens at six and no buses so had to book another hostel to stay at for the night. I was told i could have no refund. If you plan to get the sky train to the airport you can actually stay somewhere a lot closer. Nana is a great place to stay which is 20 mins closer, has great night life and market. Rules everywhere, no staff to spk to except the cleaner, the shower was cramped and dirty, reception closed in pm

  • The staff was great, and super helpful, other than that the hostel was lacking. Rooms were super small, with really thin walls. The bathroom was not all all times clean, found a roach one morning. The free city tour and three temples that was advertised as free was not really free. I still had to pay around 200baht. I was not very amused by that. Also not in the tourist area of town, so there was a lot more transportation that I had to take care of.

  • The staff here were really nice but the place is really cramped and old. Also, what they don't tell you is that if you book their cheapest room (235 baht) you don't get a fan or aircon in your room, which is ludicrous, or any of the other extras. I don't even believe the cheap dorm they advertise on Hostel sites even exists. It's a con to get you to book at their hostel and when you show up they sting you 60 baht for an upgrade.

  • The YHA hostel was as good as it can get for 300 THB a night. Clean and hygenic. Toilet and washroom doors did not have locks though. Stay was good.

  • Just a really basic place to stay near some nightlife and easy to get to the airport by subway. Not much interaction with other travelers or a place for socializing
