Don't forget to bring soap and padlock with you when you come to this hostel (or you will be able to buy these from the reception). Otherwise - great. Superb 'all you can eat' breakfast

The kitchen tables were very dirty my cloth when I wiped mine was black. The floor was very worn and splintery. The tea towels were were not clean. Considering the kitchen was almost empty and not used that much shen wer were there 3 days it was poor. The bunk beds needed a good hoover grit and debree under mattress on the base.. Shower head needed descaling. Reception serving in cafe as well as reception. TV poor quality. Lounge settees very poor. Lovely location and exceedingly good brea

When I booked online I was asked the approximate time of arrival. This seemed irrelevant because when we arrived we were told room access was not allowed until 1400 hours due to the cleaners (we arrived when we said at 1200 hours). This left us tight on time for a bus we were scheduled to catch. Thankfully the staff were sympathetic to our predicament and allowed us access slightly ahead of time, and we caught the bus okay.

I would recommend this hostel: staff really helpful (we arrived at 1am), clean, continental breakfast (buffet).

I found this hostel quite uninviting and very expensive, the decor left alot to be asked, door handles didn't work properly and wireless internet was outragiously expensive £2 an hour. I couldn't wait to move.
