Great place to get a good night's sleep if you're in London for more than just to party. Excellent location to springboard from to all areas of London, clean and secure, comfy beds, 24hr reception was great and staff are very professional and helpful. Only drawback is internet is a bit pricey for the one old computer, but lots of places to go on Oxford St. for that. Would definitely revisit again!

It was almost impossible to sleep well because the hostel's not on a residential street, and there are trucks loading and unloading at all hours of the night and early morning. And they constantly try to sell you stuff, which is frustrating because London is already such an expensive city.

The man who works at the front desk is really nice and helpfull, the girl who works there (I think she's English... because there's another girl who is of Indian origin) is absolutely NOT helpful!

The room was fine, clean and ok. The bedding wasn't seasonally appropriate and we were so HOT! The bathrooms smelled like they hadn't been cleaned in years, though I know I saw the cleaning ladies so I am not sure what is up with that!
it can be really cold and niosy at night, also the big blue sheet doesnt seem to be washed, they only have on computer and it costs more to use it for 15 minutes when you can get an hour at an internet cafe for the same price, the payphones inside dont work, the staff seems knowledgeable most of the time, it is right near all the shopping places so that is cool but again the noise is annoying
