I have checked in the hostel, but checked out late afternoon the same day even if I have already paid. Why? It was Sunday, there were just a few buses going to the hostel in the whole day. Quite hard to get there on the weekends.

Can be very noise in the mornings and they dont have kitchen facilities. In my level, there was just two female toillets and one shower.

Great for youth, but have to take a bus from the train station and a bus to the center, so kinda out of the way and the directions are difficult to find.

It is very far from siena on a sunday it can took you 1 hour to reach the center. At night it is impossible to sleep because all doors are made in heavy metal and if you are not carefull they slam by themselves and make awfull noises in the hallway. In the morning they kick you out of your room at 9h30 so they can only clean the floor and before 14h your are not abble to come back to your room. At the end we left 1 day earlier because we couldn t rest at all.

As has been said by other reviewers.. This hostel is far from the train station. 7 euro taxi ride. Very boring, plain hostel. Unkind staff seems impatient with questions about directions, restaurants ect. Computer for internet was broken, and the staff could not tell me where a nearby internet cafe was. I thought the security was ok and apparently my room had been cleaned during the day. By far one of the worst hostels I have stayed in..

The hostel is cheap and there were only two beds in my room which was good. The staff were very unfriendly though and one guy at reception was even unwilling to tell me which direction to go to get into town! I just laughed off the unfriendliness though and really enjoyed Siena! I didn't go there to stay in the hostel anyway, but just wanted a place to sleep and this hostel is fine for that, just don't expect a great atmosphere while you are in it!

Far away from the railway station (6.65€ taxi) and the centre, but you can manage well with bus. Very clean and comfortable beds. No fun at all. Anyway, if you have to stay one night and dont mind to take a bus to reach it, it is very good and cheap option.

Showers were a bit dirty but rooms clean. The location isn't ideal but you can walk to the centre in about half an hour and there is pavement most of the way. With a heavy bag I would definitely take a bus tho! 4 and 77 go to and from the train station and also into town (NOT number 10 as specified in the Lonely Planet!)..
