I had a fantastic stay here, the staff are extremely friendly, gave me a very warm welcome, and made sure I had a very pleasant stay. I wish I could have stayed here longer, but will be back again! Highly recommended. Dan, from Ireland ~ 15th Oct 2009

Excellent location but hotel needs renovating and maybe some rooms with beds to cater for western tourists. More english speaking staff would certainly help

Excellent location. Unususal mixture of new hotel and traditional tatami floor rooms. I really liked it. Very good support from staff. I forgot my ring in the room and they posted it to my next hotel. Moscitoes can be a problem but they sprayed the room and second night did not have a problem. alexander, from Greece ~ 27th May 2009

Absolutely fantastic. I loved my stay. My only wish was that the public bath had minerals or something besides just plain hot water, like the other ryokans I've stayed at.

This is a really great place to stay as it is right in the heart of Dotumbori (where all the fun is in Osaka). About 2 mins walk to the main street, I found myself surrounded by heaps of food stalls, cafes and shops. Very lively at night. The hotel itself is above satisfactory - staff knew english very well and are helpful with where you can visit in Osaka. For the price, well if you search in Japan, this place would be near the baseline and for the Ryokan room layout with a fusion of Western st
