- “ The location was excellent right in the center of the old town. It was a cozy and comfortable place, however, the public washroom can be cleaner. ”

- “ What a relief our staying in Yamen hostel was after passing some huge and overcrowded cities. We booked a double private room, and the bed could host 6 people if needed :-) It is a huge stone platform with a (thin) mattress on top. The bathroom is small (only toilet and shower) but acceptable. Breakfast is very good and cheap, Western or Chinese, about 18 RMB, so a bit more than € 2. Watch out if you want to leave early (before 6am) because the front door is locked, and no one at the desk. ”

- “ Nice staff, Quiet Town. Not much tourist in hostel though not much tourist in pingyao at all. pretty clean, old fashioned rooms with hot showers and electricity and air con. The food is pretty bad to say the truth, if you seek place to eat dont eat there ! ”

- “ A very nice place to spend some days in Pingyao. The hotels has the same atmosphere as the ancient city, and in this very old house, it's as if time had stopped. Fortunately, rooms are very comfortable, clean, and all the staff was very pleasant, kind and helpfull. Very good choice for this price ! (even if we're not so young...). ”
