Good hostel to be at. When you get off the boat coming from Guilin, it's on your left about 500 m further. The rooftop terrace is pretty cool and offers great views. There weren't much people when I came but the place is clean, event though since it has integrated a rock as part the walls, it rains on the stairway inside (not in the rooms though). Very friendly staff, english-speaking too and you can have good chinese meals for 10 yuans on the terrace. It's not "downtown" but since Yangshuo is s Philippe, from Canada ~ 4th Jun 2009

we stayed a couple of days. new rooms, very friendly staff and a great 4th floor roof top with view over LiRiver. location is not in busy west street and still not too far. absolutely recommandable. Read Owner Comments Nico, from Germany ~ 11th May 2009

This place was on the river, so it has a great view. The rooms were a little small, and bathrooms in the rooms have no privacy wall. The staff was super nice. No internet/wireless in the rooms. This was a deal breaker for us, so we left after one night. The location is farther away from the main drag, and so we didn't feel as connected. We didn't like that, as we were looking for making friends and hanging out. This place is not for people looking to meet others. Otherwise, it's Jessica, from USA ~ 24th Feb 2009
