very nice hostel, i dont like being in big tourist areas of a city (think khaosan road in bangkok), so you dont like that kind of area, i wouldn't stay here, but it is centralized, and close to everything you would want to see. Staff was courteous, and the excursions are all available by the hostel, they are very accomdoating (as i changed my excursion date about 5 times) and they helped me without any problems at all.

Great location, couldn't ask for better. Rooms are cheap and the price is great considering you get a free breakfast. The staff's english isn't the best.

I haven't traveled much but this was one of the worst places I've ever stayed in. But for 8 USD as we paid, it was alright. Plus Saigon was an amazing place, you don't want to stay too much in your room anyways...!

I must say that the Yellow House is more than it seemed to be.
the breakfast that was included was really good.I got a mixed room and it was really good for a nice price ( USD5.50 per day). Excellente location.

The noise of the air conditioning combined with the general noise level from other users made deep sleep difficult. But all staff were very helpful and the general facilities were those expected from US$8@ night accomodation. You get what you pay for!
