This is as close to a proper hostel as you can get in HK! Super friendly staff and really clean. Could do with a proper kitchen, but compared to mirador mansions where we stayed before it is an oasis! Susan, from England ~ 16th Oct 2009

Overall a great hostel. It was a lil far away but did not matter because the subway station is 2 mins away, and the tram is right outside. For the price you couldnt get any better. The massage chair was a plus too. I will reccomend to anyone cassie, from USA ~ 13th Oct 2009

Nice place, room is clean and the staff is helpful. Location is a bit far from major tourist place, but there\'s MTR station nearby. With the price I\'m paying, I don\'t have any complain ! Irma, from Indonesia ~ 17th Aug 2009

Check in was a bit of a pain because it was the guy's fifth day, but he's smart and probably has a hang of it by now. I stayed in a single, the place was clean, the area is convenient and the bed was comfortable. I'd stay there again if I came back. William, from USA ~ 11th Jul 2009

It's a good place to stay in Hongkong cheaply and without any expectations, but no more. Rachel, from Germany ~ 24th Jun 2009

great place, great spot, great staff... would stay again for sure. a couple things though - once you arrive at 248 Kings Road, find the elevator and head to the fifth floor, there are no signs to guide you. i wish there was a social area, but HK space is limitted. free internet sold me! keep up the good work! A very clean, well furnished hostel for a very reasonable rate. Hostel staff very helpfu. Damn shame it doesn't have a communal area though- this is the one and only thing Chunking/Mirador mansions has an advatage in. Also, there was a problem with the smell of rotten eggs for a few nights, though that might be a building problem more than than the hostels. Chaz, from USA ~ 23rd May 2009
