Location was good - a lot of restaurants and bars close by. Staff were really accommodating. Everything was fairly clean, and the atmosphere was funky. I'd recommend it! James, from Australia ~ 25th Oct 2009

Cleanliness of toliet is terrible.. the shower is not working and there is no hot water! Internet is so expensive.. the only thing i like is the location of the hosyel KIN, from Hong Kong ~ 19th Oct 2009

Location is great. It's already near the major Paris attractions and its very close to the Metro. This is a good hostel for the younger crowd. There's a lot of restaurants on the same street that stay open til the wee hours of the morning. That's our only complaint about the place. A bit out of the way from the sights, but very near a metro station, so not a big worrier .The area in which the Y&H resides is known as the Latin Quarter, which can get fairly busy and loud at night. But really great if you want to partake in the night life (you don't have far to go after hitting up the bar). Staff were helpful, and breakfast was included. Carrie, from USA ~ 1st Jul 2009

Staff was okay, either friendly and not helpful or helpful and not friendly. Location is great if youre into bars and student restaurants, but its a FAR walk from any tourist site. Luckily, the train system in Paris is very good. Its pretty clean, but overall not a great hostel. Terrible showers and very uncomfortable beds. Landon, from USA ~ 6th Jun 2009

The only real issue was the cleanliness with the shower and toilet facilities but that relies alot on the people staying there as well. Didn't seem to be enough toilets for the number of people saying there. Staff were good. Breakfast was good value. Great, great location. Leonie, from Australia ~ 5th Jun 2009
