Plakias is a little bit hard to get to, there are only 2 busses a day from Rethymno, but once you are there the location is great. It’s a 5 minute walk to Plakias beach, with is beautiful. And there are many other walked that can be taken to scenic views and quaint towns within a 2 hour radius. This hostel is a jewel. It is the friendliest and cleanest hostel I have been to yet.
