the hosetl is far out from the city centre. its either a very long walk ( about half ab hour) or 11 kuna on the bus. the hostel only provides one bathrom for both boys and girls with one shower. one showercurtain separates the shower from the rest of the bathroom, which only has cold water. its very basic reallythe rooms are hot, due to the lack of aircondition. they charge for the internet. on the bright side, there is a beach right in front of the hostel and you meet a lot of nice people.

No hot water!!! Lots of ants in the room. got very bitten in the beds. Also very family orientated with lots of screaming loud kids. great location for the beach though!

Location is great if looking for a beach hostel, otherwise it'll be horrible! It's about 30 minute walk from the city centre, and the beach is just amazing!

out of town aways, but has a nice waterfront location. but be warned, most of the hostel was occupied by kids 12 to 14 years old. there were also day trips by families there just way too many young children around to be considered a fun hostel

Stayed for two nights at Youth Hostel Pula. We were a group of 5. Friendly staff, beautiful location- it is directly on the beach. We really enjoyed our stay here, the only thing to note is that the "included breakfast" is nothing to get excited about. It was bread and spreads.

The location of this hostel is a bit dodgy to say the least, down an unlit country lane a little ways out of Pula. However the upside is it basically has its own beach and in the high season I expect it would be great. No hot water when I stayed though, average dorm and no real security to speak of. Its a bog standard HI and as long as you dont expect the earth from it, it is ok. The so-called breakfast, as usual with the HI, is stretching it a bit. Helpful staff though.
