Not a very soulful hostel, more like a cheap hotel. The staff was helpfull but seemed bored with their work. Some walking distance along a heavily trafficked road to get into town. Walk in the other direction and you'll get to a small, stony, white beach! Take the stairs down and take a swim in the turqoise Adriatic! The hostel was run more "factory"-like than other hostels we've been to. Maybe because it's an HI Hostel and the other ones we've been to were not. I prefer the other ones.

decent place...hot in the summer.

Helpful girl working the evening shift. Lacked character. Breakfast kind of early (8a.m)-> if you wanted it, you had to wake up early.

Great, clean hostel. walkable distance to the city. only thing that annoyed me was a high pitched noise that went off day and night for anti-loitering around the hostel--drove me crazy anyways!!

an unmemorable stay in a really nice city. there's no kitchen and all the restaurants in the city were closed on sunday so what were we supposed to eat? and the internet wasn't free! not a negative experience altogether tho.

The only criticisms concerns cleanliness. Another roommates left really dirty toilet while moving out. Unfortunately any cleaning staff came and cleaned it after, so that we spent one day using this toilet.

A straight and regular youth hostel, not very funny, but clean and quiet. Not easy to find but well located (approx. 10 min by walk from the centre) even if the surrounding are not very appealling...

thought it should be a little cheaper than it was for the location. But was right off a bus route which was nice.

There were absolutely no directions to this hostel on their website and no tips on taking a bus there instead of walking with all our luggage on a highway from the train station to the hostel. It was very unwelcoming when we got there. The security lockers we were assigned either had the door broken off or the back was starting to fall off. We were also charged for internet when there was absolutely no sign put up with this information and the receptionist did not tell us otherwise.
The place is a little out of town but easier to get toon the bus. Not many people were staying at the hostel but it's a good base if you have a little bit of time and want to explore nearby towns. the quoted price does not include the tourist tax, plus if you are not a yha member there is another additional charge.
