The hostel is quite far from the bus station and from the old town as well (about 30 minutes walk), but the rooms are OK, and it\'s not expensive to take a taxi to the bus station (about 3 euros). We had real trouble finding the place. No one knew where Youth hostel was and the directions didn't really help. Studentski dom is actually what you are looking for! Overall Dobrota is a very calm place as compared to Budva. The beach is very near to the hostel. Breakfasts were a bit boring - same stuff every day. Varvara, from Russia ~ 28th Jul 2009

It's really far from Kotor (25 min walk, actually in next town). Rooms are spartan. I was told there would be hot water after 6 pm, there was not. David, from USA ~ 25th Jul 2009

The thing about this place is it is cheap. If you just need a place to sleep this is the place for you. It's walking distance to the city and is in a residential area that really gives you the feel of everyday life in Kotor. In 10 yrs this place is going to be amazingly touristy so get here while you can. There is a bus from the city to the beaches on the other side of the bay as well.
