20 minutes out of town, but I would say it is worth it.It is a really nice place to stay. They don't have lockers you can lock though, so that is a bit of a downer. Liam, from Canada ~ 3rd Nov 2011

Amazing villa. It's really pretty and it almost has everything. No kitchen :( great staff and atmosphere Yuliana, from Mexico ~ 28th Jul 2011

Too expensive due to HI-fees and turist-tax. We ended up paying 4 euros extra pr. person pr. night(!) Line, from Denmark ~ 1st Aug 2011

Two thing to complain about. Firstly, the location is terrible, last stop on the bus, and then a good 15 minute walk up the driveway through the bush to the hostel, wouldnt want to do this at night as pretty unsafe. Secondly, although hostels.com said there was a refridgerator to use, the only one was the bar fridge and the staff were more than disgruntled to let us put our milk etc in it. Apart from these two things, beds and bathrooms relatively clean and tidy, great atmosphere to meet people Samantha, from New Zealand ~ 10th Jul 2011

Located outside the city centre, but no problem to walk there from the trainstation. Really friendly and cool staff! Nice and clean rooms, quiet place! Pia, from Norway ~ 16th Jul 2011

Horrible location (it couldn't be farther from the city and it's at the end of trail through some woods, it took us an hour and a half to find it), we had to pay a stupid 3 euro fee for a membership that we didn't want, the staff were lazy, enforced weird and arbitrary rules. the building itself was cool, but the accomodations were pretty much the same as in a prison. there is nowhere to lock your valuables. the "free breakfast" was pieces of bread, some cereal and coffee from a vending machi Daniel, from USA ~ 6th Jul 2011

This hostel was gorgeous it had a ton of character and was surrounded by lovely grounds. However getting to the hostel is a significant hike from central Florence and is even a bit of a walk from the nearest train station. If you have no problem hiking back to your hostel each night then this is a great choice! JULIA, from USA ~ 5th Jul 2011

This hostel is very beautiful and beautifully located - albeit far from the center of Florence. It's well managed, and the bus trip to and from town was really no trouble. A few mosquitos, though. Per Esben, from Norway ~ 1st Jul 2011

Very far, literally on the edge of the city.Nice place, was an old villa.Best to cab it back at night as it takes roughly an hour and half to walk back from the Duomo. Jonathon, from Canada ~ 7th Jun 2011
