A pretty good hostel the staff were great, the kitchen was ok. Not that far out of town, but its definately a family place, not really a youth hostel, if you are travelling alone and want to meet people its not very good but otherwise it was ok.

A little out of the way, but the bus system is included in the stay, and easy to use. It was nice eating breakfast near the lake! It would be helpful if there were better instructions on how to get there initially.

This was nice i suppose, the hill was good for a morning workout. bring your own food if you dont want to have to buy their crap or take the train back into town to get food. the \"pool\"was kinda fun. it was loud all night with their party though so unless you\'re in on it it can be pretty annoying.
Balmer's is famous, so it's worth staying. Very social and a great place to meet traveling or hiking buddies. A little bit of a walk from the downtown area, but close to lots of other hostels. They charge you a ridiculous amount for internet!
I bit out of the way. It would be great if you are looking for a quite place to stay out of the main city. They had a good breakfast.
This hostel was great. It was right on the lake and it had gorgeous views! It was a little out of the center of town, but the bus stop wasn't far away. If you want a quieter hostel and a great spot near the lake, this is the right one. We found a hidden beach after walking for about 10 minutes. It was definitely a great place to stay.

This is a great location on the lake. It is a little walk from Interlaken but you can't beat the walk to town.
