Great place to stay! Very spacious. Feels family-oriented and friendly. The breakfast beats everyone else's hands down.

This hostel was more like a hotel. The lobby was very nice, and every thing was extremely clean. It was far from the central part of the city, however. I walked from the main train station and it was about 45 minutes.

Terrible location meant that the place got more expensive when its already overpriced. One of the best 'included' breakfasts you'll get at a hostel though. Zurich is very expensive, and theres not a lot to do, so if you dont really need to go there, dont.

Not a fun hostel, not clean and very poor location. Excellent security though.

i mean.. not a bad hostel, but incredible false advertising. this is not a "youth hostel". when i hear the word "youth hostel", i think of a hostel designed for people age 16-30... the vast majority of people who were staying here were 40+ or were little kids. plus the location is really off the beaten path if you wanna check out anything in downtown zurich... so add an aditional $7.00 to whatever the cost of your room is because you are going to have to buy a tram pass to get here...

hostel is ok, but it is really not even close to the center part of the city, it is not close to central station and you have to take tram

The directions to the hostel that I found on the internet were really not very good, and speaking no German made it very hard to figure out the tram system. Maybe if you guys had some more clear instructions it would be easier to get there, since it is so far from downtown.
