  • First, this Hostel, it not in Chichen Itza, it is in a town 14 kilometers from Pisté, the closest town to Chichen Itza. So, if you want to go to this Hostel and arrive during the night you need a car. Otherwise you'll need to get to Pisté or Valladolid and there take a taxi. I booked for the Tent, but reality was far from the promise. Tents were smaller than the ones you see at the pics. Then I moved to a room that was OK. It was clean, it has hot water, TV and fan.

  • Never actually made it. We arrived around 1am and nobody was there. Location is in nature. Nobody speaks English, but they let us at least take a shower in the morning. Tents are really just the cheapest tents. Bathroom is really natural too. Bamboo fence and really weird shower which didn't work really well. But great adventure :-)

  • The manager gave us an upgrade from the tent to the cabin for free since no one else was staying there. He referred us to a local palapa style restaurant and gave us great recommendations about the town. Far out, secluded, coolest outdoor jungle bathroom and super awesome stop if you're staying the night in Chichen Itza. It's a little farther away but a very nice break from busy cities.

  • A very nice place to stay, very quiet and peaceful. Being the only ones there they were very accommodating to our needs.
