This is probably one of the best hostels in New York. It feels more like a shared apartment then a hostel. The owner is very friendly and accomodating. The views from the roof top are amazing too!! I would definitely recommend staying at this hostel. sophia, from England ~ 7th Sep 2011

I loved Williamsburg and the neat restaurants, shops & bars nearby. The neighborhood felt to safe for walking even in night time. Great roof balcony and nice staff. Loved the chatting with other travellers in the common room. The air conditioning in the rooms made quite a sound, so a pair of earplugs might be useful. Otherwise it was a great place to stay and explore the city. Heli, from Finland ~ 15th Jul 2011

Zip112 was clean and quiet a good place to relax after seeing NYC, and in a nice, quirky neighborhood. Stay here if you are neat and can be quiet. Don't stay here if you're looking for a party atmosphere. Rachel, from USA ~ 21st May 2011

We liked the host very much, unfortunately he was noticably absent during the last few days of our stay. Also, the hotel is usually quiet, but it is close to a club, so one some nights light sleepers will need earplugs. It didn't bother us very much, though. The neighbourhood, Williamsburg, is very nice for young people and backpackers especially. Lots of clubs, shops, restaurants, and within easy distance of Manhattan (< 10 minutes by subway).
