I didn't actually get to spend the night at this hostel. I checked-in, but due to change of plans I wasn't able to return again. I did get a good impression of the staff - friendly and accommodating - and the hostel in itself is neat and well-designed. The location is also great! Charlotte, from Norway ~ 16th Mar 2012

Nice, clean hostel. Some night clubs near by make some noise but it is survivable. One block to the beach. Plenty of restaurants and bustling bars around makes the location very god. Easy to jump on buses and take taxis one street up from the hostel. Did not go on any tours with the hostel but they can arrange most trips as I understood. I stayed here in May 2011, and I had a great time.Fantastic location (in chic Leblon, only a block from the beach), cool staff, and I met some great fellow travellers.The place is fairly new, and so is very "modern." Only one caveat - the owners do not seem to put much emphasis on maintenance.I see things that are broken and in disrepair already, like a leaky pipe outside my room that dripped directly on an A/C unit.I hope that the owners on this, because if this keeps up, in a few months, Naoki, from Canada ~ 29th Jul 2011
