There was a lot of smoking in the common room- one of the people who runs the hostel seemed to smoke there often, which I didn't like. Also, they were disorganized, they had no idea that I was coming or what I had paid as a deposit since I paid all of that online. The hostel's location is hard to get to, but it's beautiful, and the place itself was comfortable and relatively clean. It also has fairly good rates. I will stay there again if I go back to Zhangjiajie.

This place was great. It had the feel of a miniature ski lodge (minus all the skiing). It was beautiful, right in the center of the down town of zhangjiajie, the staff was friendly (only 1 woman spoke good english, the rest had very limited ability, but still very helpful) and I really enjoyed my stay there. :) I would highly recommend it to others.
