My room is in front of the hotel and near the walking street, it is so noisy. I can not sleep all night. it has 4 bigs windows in one room. PRATSADAPORN, from Thailand ~ 7th Jul 2009

The location was pretty good, but I wouldn't recommend Zurich to begin with. Its very expensive and there are ALOT of prettier places to go in Switzerland. It was so expensive and there was not even a bathroom or shower in our room. We paid 133 franks for one night! The themed rooms werent even themed, just posters of musicians. Not recommended. Very clean hostel but didn't get the most warm welcome from the staff. Also, didn't realize that breakfast wasn't included and considering the price of Zurich it would have been nice to have had breakfast for free. Hostel was cute and very clean though. Also, accross the street from a very loud dance club that went until un-godly hours. Would have been fine if I didn't have an early flight to catch the next day. Just bring ear plugs if you'd like some shut eye. Rachel, from USA ~ 7th Jun 2009

There is no Bruce Springsteen room!!!, I can't believe it, they have Talking Heads room, Police room even a Bryant Adams room, bu t no Bruce Springsteen Room. But it's only rock & roll and I like It, hahaha. I'm going serious now. The place is incredible, the staff is very helpful, everything is clean, it's placed on the city center and you can visit the city from there on foot. A really nice place to go. I was disappointed with the hostel. It's too expensive for what you get, but in Zurich it's hard to find a cheaper one in the city center. My single room was very basic, the toilets and bathroom are shared (although they warn about it, it's still a downside) and the breakfast was really, really terrible (just eat somewhere else). And if you need to leave the luggage somewhere on the check-out, take it to train station lockers. In the hotel they just leave it in a corner at the entrance room. Although I was only there a short time and not to party, the hostel was very cool and in a good bar district. If you are going there to sleep in order to catch an early plane, be wary.. It is very near to a few techno-sounding clubs that are open seemingly all night long. That coupled with screaming drunken fights in the street kept me up all night long. The hotel is in a great part of the center: right next to the university, near the main train station, close to the main shopping boulevard, and on a wonderful pedestrian street with tons of restaurants. The hotel was decently maintained, but everything was very worn in the rooms and the bathrooms were not the best. Sean, from USA ~ 2nd Jan 2009
