Not a brilliant location, there is also only one toilet and shower between 25 dorm beds, not brilliant... The staff are friendly, but it's a weird set up, as its half hotel. The location thing is a real problem as you are in the middle of nowhere.. it takes a good 20-30 mins to get anywhere. sara, from England ~ 25th Feb 2010

I have had the most fun I think I've ever had in a hostel. The atmosphere is super fun, and the location makes for easy transport around Tokyo on the Hibiya line. Ai-chan is an awesome front desk help!!! As far as hostels go, if you're coming from Europe you'll be pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness as well. I absolutely loved this hostel! The staff were very helpful finding locations of things and were good at english. The computers, laundry, and lockers available to use were a plus too! Great place, really friendly and helpful staff and nice rooms. For gods sake change the name on the sign outside though or tell people that you are really called Tokyo hostel as the signage proclaims, otherwise poor travellers have to walk up and down the road with packs looking for bAKpAKERS!! This hostel definitely had a lot of character. I'm not really sure how I felt about the atmosphere of the hostel as it had somewhat of a party vibe to it. But it held itself well and still maintained a solid set of rules to keep things in order. Eric, from USA ~ 28th Oct 2009
