- “ Nice quite hostel with a good roof space and common areas. Great location in the centre of Gion, close to shopping and lots of places to eat. Right next to a station and just off the main road for buses ”

- “ Great staff, friendly guests to talk to, and nice accommodations. Lots of character. Common room is a great place to meet people, and there are DVDs there for when you want to take a break from temple-hunting. Computers are rather slow, but there is Wi-Fi. Location is fantastic right next to great sightseeing areas, including Kiyomizu-dera. The clerk was very helpful in suggesting things to see in Kyoto. Would absolutely recommend this place. ”

- “ The location was excellent close to most train or bus lines to get where you want to. It is also easy to get to when you are arriving to Kyoto. The only downside to the hostel would be the fact that the only showers are in the first floor. Other than that the good outweighed the bad. ”
