I stayed here with two of my friends. Extra care has been taken by the staff for cleanliness, very good helpful organised staff. The bathrooms are super super clean and you get 24 Hrs hot water though the size is small.Added facility of Internet usage, microwave oven, fridge and electric kettle, superb.Our room was comfortable although the size of room is small enough but cleanliness is the first for all of us. Much better accommodation available in the same building for the same price! Try the Hollywood Four Seasons guesthouse, for example. In fact, if you don't mind the uncertainty I would advise you to just turn up at Chungking Mansions and wait for the touts to find you (they definitely will). Good choice for one (or two night), no more, becausesome renovation is necessary, old aircondition was noisy in my room. Single room is very small as usual in HK. I don´t mind the market (of dubious products) on lower floors. Here is Asia ! But the street NON-chinese touter disgusted me ( massage :)),fake watches, drugs). I don´t understand why the goverment don´t do any actions against them. I stayed in a standard single private ensuite room. It was clean and the air conditioner worked well which is important in this sizzling hot summer in hong kong. The staff was friendly and nice.
