This was the most memorable of our trip as far as fun and value. Not as far from esplanade as we thought. maybe 10minutes on the tram (maybe 15 minute walk to the tram). Great cahracter, communication and service. Food was well organised, and drinks were cheap. views from the top floor were amazing, over the whole of Nice. Only hostel we managed to stay in due to our need for a private ensuite etc, however was better than a few of our hotels. Highly recommended!!

Great Hostel in terms of the buildings and facilities, but the place is really badly organised. Everyone seems to end up having to change rooms every night. I stayed in a room for one night and was told if I wanted to stay another night I had to move rooms. fine. Stored my luggage in the luggage room. (Incidentally this is always locked however anyone can get the key at any time and get access with no supervision etc making it totally pointless.) When I returned from my day-out I checked in and got put back in the same room I was in the night before. An hour or so later one of the staff arrived with the fifth person (in a 4-bed dorm) and it turned out the had put me in the worng room.

It was very easy to meet people at this hostel and the bar there is great too. Plus fabulous day trips are offered with things like scuba diving or canyoning. For a first time backpacker, this place was perfect.

The staff were pretty friendly and helpful, giving general plans on where to go and what to do. They were equipped with maps for some of the places as well. Reasonably priced - 15€ per night, however 12 pple in a room is too much! People kept coming in at all timings talking loudly. There was 1 night where a family of 3 came into the room and couldnt find enough empty beds, and the staff pointed at each bed and asked me bed by bed if there was anyone using that bed. I was sleeping and its not as if i stayed in the room all day. Lastly, i think there were bedbugs as both me & my friend left the place with itchy red bites!

The hostel was a bit far from the center, but they have a van to take you to the nearest tram line. Breakfast is great and they have a cheap restaurant in the bar...also very clean!

The staff is by far the friendliest of any hostel I've ever been to and they are always ready to give the guest the greatest amount of attention possible and always in the best of moods. Keep up the great attitude and the awesome work.

This place is absolutely amazing! Yeah...it's not in downtown nice, but that really does not matter. Had a stayed in a hostel downtown in Nice i would have spent 3-4 days...exploring the downtown hanging out on the beach...and thats it. At saint expurery i stayed 8 days and since they organize such awesome day trips i went to antibes, cannes, eze village, monaco, the alps for skiing, and some awesome town called peille for rock climbing in addition to exploring nice and chilling out at the beach. With all that...i still didn't get to do everything there was to do. The staff is awesome...the booze is cheap...the dinners are great...and the internet is FREE! Oh and you meet lots and lots of people. Best stay ever.
