Location was nice because the hostel was near a grocery store, convenience stores, restaurants, and the subway. Not in the middle of Tokyo attractions, but near enough by rail. Staff was very polite, helpful, and spoke English well. Rooms can be very small by Western standards, but roughly on par with the rest of Japan. A little low on character, but I wasn't looking for a resort. If I had to complain, I'd say that the bed mattress let the springs be felt a little too much. Overall,

Unless I did the conversion wrong in my head, there's a USD$700 fee for losing your key! Beware.

this is a very good deal for tokyo. very clean, super-friendly staff who all speak english. however, as with all hotels in this area, the room is teeny tiny. however, it is set up so that it does not cause any problem.
