This place was great! It was within about 10 blocks of everything we wanted to see (St Laurent, McGill, Mount Royal, St Catherines, Eaton Centre). The staff were super friendly, and the facilities were nice. It was great that they included a (minimal) breakfast. Next time we're in Montreal, we'll definitely stay here!

We stayed in one of the private rooms in the basement and found it both clean and comfortable. There's tons of stuff to see and do within walking distance - like the Quartier Latin. There are tons of places to eat. The staff was courteous and friendly. Parking was a bit of an issue for us, since Rue Sherbrooke is pretty busy. The free parking is on the street, they don't have a special parking lot. No alcohol is allowed in the building either. Those two things weren't great, but if you're not driving and don't care to drink at your hostel, it's a great place. It was only two blocks from the very cool St. Denis and a couple blocks away from some great restaurants and night life.
