When staying at a hostel in China, the two main room types you'll come across are dorm rooms and private double rooms. The nightly rates for these rooms generally include service charges, bed linen and luggage storage facilities.
If you're planning to stay in tourist favourites like Hangzhou or Suzhou, especially on weekends, it's a good plan to book your bed beforehand.
